PAST PROJECTS AND TRIPS
Below are a description of several service trips to Casa that students at Great Oak High School have participated in as part of Casa Esperanza Club. In preparation for these trips, students supported Casa through participating in fundraisers and donation drives.
Summer 2019 Trip
During our Summer 2019 trip, Casa members and parents worked together to install playground equipment and deliver furniture for the school library. It was hard work but it was so worth it to see the children's smiling faces :)
November 2019 Trip
During our November 2019 trip, Casa members painted a beautiful mural on the interior walls of Casa Esperanza. We also delivered much-needed supplies and got to play with the adorable little kids.
December 2020 Trip
Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, our club was still able to safely collect and deliver jackets, shoes, and toys to the women and children at Casa Esperanza. While at Casa, we were able to do crafts with the kids, play with a piñata, and help Santa deliver gifts to the children.
